PLEASE
NOTE
You must be 21 years or older to
order and receive alcoholic beverages.
WARNING! Minors providing false information when obtaining
alcoholic beverages over the internet will face criminal
prosecution and civil liability. Violators may be charged
federally with wire and credit card fraud, and under multiple
state laws prohibiting the attempted purchase or possession of
alcohol by minors. Penalties include monetary fines, jail time,
criminal probation, loss of driver's license and a criminal
record that must be disclosed on job and college applications.
Licensed sellers of alcohol (including wineries and retailers)
who pay large fines and lose alcohol license privileges for
sales to minors are entitled to sue the minor for compensation.
All Internet customers must provide a credit card number and
delivery address and can therefore be POSITIVELY identified to
law enforcement. IF YOU'RE UNDER 21 -- DON'T RISK YOUR FUTURE!
We utilize UPS for shipping. It is
required to have a signature of a person 21 years or older
before UPS will leave the wine at the delivery site.
We can ship all merchandise to all
50 states. Due to laws governing each state, Chatham Hill Winery
can legally ship wines purchased on our web site throughout
North Carolina, Florida, Ohio, Minnesota, Missouri, and California. Changes are being made very frequently with these restrictive
laws and we suggest that if you do not live in the above states,
please go ahead and place your order and we will let you know
the current status of shipping to your state. All out of
state wine shipments require payment of small excise taxes which
vary state by state and are to be passed directly to the
consumer. This small additional fee will be added to your credit
card once the number of bottles and what state shipping to is
determined. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call us at
